love lemon water, it is an amazing drink that is so very refreshing
especially if had along with honey. It is also an amazing
remedy for indigestion and nausea and I often make it at home. When I
make lemon water at home, I like to add fresh ginger to it, adding
ginger not only gives it a nice taste but has wonderful health benefits
as well. Here are some of the health benefits of drinking lemon water:
1. Lemon Water For Digestion: I can confidently say that this lemon
water is a very very good remedy for indigestion. I have used it plenty
of times as a remedy for indigestion and it always works. 2. Lemon Water

Lemon Water Side Effects: Though I love lemon water and was having it for a few days regularly in the morning in empty stomach, I started having slight stomach irritation as lemon is highly acidic. If you find yourself getting stomach irritation, drink lemon water in between meals like I do. Also drinking of too much acidic drinks like lemon water can erode the enamel of our teeth so have it in moderation…..
HOW TO MAKE LEMON WATER AT HOME: LEMON WATER RECIPE
1. Wash and grate a small piece of fresh ginger root after peeling off the skin.
2. Wash and then a cut a fresh lemon into thin slices.
3. Take the grated ginger and cut lemon in a bowl, add hot water to it. Mix well with a spoon and let the water infuse.
4. Strain and add honey to taste. Also add a tiny pinch of salt, it will enhance the taste. Your lemon water is ready!
- You can have this lemon water either hot or cold. I like it cold during hot summer months.
- You can make a big batch and store in the refrigerator.
- Here in India, the lemon we get normally is more sharp and acidic, so if you are finding it difficult to drink in the empty stomach, drink only in between meals….
