This olive oil and egg hair mask has just two ingredients, but the result is simply great. I tried this after reading it in a magazine. This mask is made by beating an egg and mixing it with extra virgin olive oil and your hair mask is ready! More than the quantity of ingredients, I always focus on the quality of the ingredients.
For this mask I have used organic country eggs. The difference between ordinary eggs and organic country eggs are surprising. The shells of the country eggs are thicker, the yolks a deep yellow color and in taste too, organic country eggs wins over ordinary eggs considerably.
But please be careful when buying country eggs, because due to their expensive price, some vendors dip the outer shell of ordinary eggs in red color and sell it. This is very common in our place.
The only draw back about this mask is that you have to clean your bathroom after bathing due to the eggy smell. But the reward is you are left with silky smooth hair. Try using this mask regularly to strengthen and condition your hair along with promoting hair growth.
Egg and Olive Oil Hair Mask For Hair Growth
1. Break an organic country egg into a bowl.
2. Add extra virgin olive oil and beat it together. Take the mixture and apply it all over the scalp. Wait for 15 minutes before washing it off in lukewarm water.
- Don’t use very hot water on your hair for washing this mask, as the eggs will scramble. But don’t worry, that happens only when the water is way too hot.
- Use it weekly once, for best results.
Thanks Ramya, at least i will not have difficulty getting the recipe for this one. thanks.

I haven't tried Dabur vatika olive oil so I don't know how good it is but if you feel the oil is good, use it for the mask…

Your blog is very nice & keep posting many more beauty tips, want to know if I can use my regular curry leaf oil along with the egg.also pls help me am losing lot of hair in the frontal area.
Thanks a lot. You can use this egg and olive oil hair mask along with curry leaf oil regularly. Also try not to pull the hair too tight into a plait or tie it into a pony tail as it also causes loss of hair in the frontal area…

Hello..Came across this blog of yours and really tempted to ask you a few questions hoping for a healthy easy home made remedy. I have soft wavy curly hair (of about medium length). I have a host of problems 1. I have itchy scalp and when I use my fingers to stop itching, my nails get covered with dirt2. Since I have curly hair, they also tend to get frizzy a lot, especially during summer and rainy seasons and also after shampoo bath (when they dry). I use dove shampoo and conditioner3. I have small broken hair around the edges which remain short even though other remaining main part of hair grow longer.4. These days, I am having hair fall and my hair haven't grown in the past 6 to 8 months which is worrisome.5. Right now I live in Denmark, but when I was in India, when I come back home, my hair used to have a burnt smell. Please suggest me a good hair mask and hair oil for my kind of hair which will moisten and keep my hair strong. I have tried so many shampoos, natural ingredients like honey, lemon, curd, eggs, beer, fenugreek but nothing seemed to have worked on me.Hoping for a miracle..Please suggest me a good mask and a good hair oil
